Week of 9/6/21, on The Lillian McDermott Radio Show/Classroom!

Happy Sunday!

Last week I shared a list of companies that are mandating employees to take the shot to stay employed.

I have no problem if someone wants to voluntarily choose to take the shot. I do have a problem when that same shot is forced against the peoples’ will or religious beliefs to keep their job, eat at a restaurant, travel, or be with their loved ones.

As I mentioned last week, I believe this is Good vs Evil. I will boycott as many of these companies as I possibly can.

I have cancelled Netflix and I mailed them a letter explaining why I did that. I sent them the link to the Yahoo News article that states they are mandating vaccines for their cast and crew on all production sets. The young man who answered the phone thanked me for taking a stand for them! This is the first of many organizations I will boycott.

I have started the process of moving my business accounts to a local community bank. I know these are small steps but, if we all unite, we will make a difference! How will you take a stand?

Although it was not planned, this week there seems to be a “taking a stand” theme in the classroom… Godincidence??? Always!!!

Monday, 9-6-21 Facebook Watch Party 12:05 pm ~ How many times do you find yourself disgusted by something someone else wrote on Facebook? Perhaps they have the opposite perspective, and they are ignoring the real facts. Chances are that someone else is viewing you the same way. Speaker and author of Honest to Greatness, Peter Kozodoy will teach us how we can be honest in a world full of shaming, fear, and hate while still being respectful. (Aired 9-8-20)

Tuesday, 9-7-21 YouTube or Facebook LIVE 12:05 pm ~ Orthopedic surgeon Lee Merritt, MD, began her medical career at the age of four, carrying her father’s “black bag” on house calls. Since, Dr. Merritt has taken a stand for honoring her oath to do no harm. She has been very outspoken when it comes to shining the light on the falsification of the latest virus. Dr. Merritt will share the science and help us understand what we don’t know, we don’t know about this virus.

Wednesday, 9-8-21 YouTube or Facebook LIVE 12:05 pm ~ We have discussed the importance of being brave and bold. This might be easy for some. But for Steven LaTulippe, MD, the consequences were unbelievably high when he shared that no one is mandated to wear a mask in his family medicine clinic. As a result, the Oregon Medical Board suspended his license. Dr. LaTulippe will share how his life has changed by taking a stand.

As we approach the New Truths Series: I AM the SOLUTION virtual weekend workshop, 9/17 – 9/19, I am more convinced that rewriting the program in our head, heart, and spirit, will help us deal with the complicated times that lie ahead.
