Enjoy your day and make great food choices as you celebrate.
As you may know, I have been writing for the Florida Today newspaper for 3 years. This week, my February article will be published. You can find the article online starting on Tuesday, February 6th, or in the Florida Today newspaper on Thursday, February 8th. I will also be featured on WEFS TV, Sunday, February 11th at 5:30 pm. Tim Walters and I will be discussing how to LOVE with Urgency. Please mark your calendars. I hope you will be able watch.

The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!
Monday, 2-5-18 ~ Are you tired of the cold of winter and possibly have no energy? Are you counting the days for spring or summer to arrive? Tuesday, 2-6-18 ~ Chef Dawn Ludwig has devoted her career to helping people discover the fun, beauty, and delicious taste of natural foods. Dawn’s passion is guiding families to incorporate better foods into their everyday lives. Chef Dawn is back, and she has done it again… more delicious recipes from her new cookbook, “Always Delicious.” The book comes out on March 6th, but one of you will be able to win a free copy!
Wednesday, 2-7-18 ~ It’s that time again when we get to dissect my newest Florida Today article! As always, joining me is one of my favorite editors and the creator of “Daddy Duty,” Tim Walters. This month’s article is about “Loving with Urgency.” You can find the article online starting on Tuesday, February 6th, or in the Florida Today newspaper on Thursday, February 8th. Please feel free to share the article on your social media with family and friends.
Thursday, 2-8-18 ~ Are you in a relationship that makes you feel “less than”? Do you live in fear that the next word out of your mouth will upset your significant other? Do you want to get out but just don’t know how? Do you feel guilty at the thought of uprooting your family? Do you wonder how you will support yourself and your children? Have you rejected anyone who has tried to help you? Do you feel alone? If you are nodding “yes” as you read the above questions or even if you know someone who is in this type of relationship, be silent no more! Cindy Mitchell, the director of The Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program, will compassionately discuss how to Identify, Escape, and Heal from Domestic Violence!
Friday, 2-9-18 ~ As you all know, I love the documentary “Forks Over Knives!” Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn has been on my show to share how food can prevent and reverse disease. Well, they say that “Fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.” His children, Rip & Jane Esselstyn, are not only continuing the plant strong mission, they are also adding more wonderful recipes. Rip & Jane will share some of their favorite recopies with us from their latest cook book The Engine 2 Cookbook.
Saturday, 2-10-18 ~ There comes a time in everyone’s life when our belief system and values are tested. Being tested can lead to growth opportunities and blessings. But, at that moment, one can feel distracted and detached from self or others. Tim Ray, CEO of United Intentions Foundation, believes that there is strength in numbers and we should all have a safe place where we can turn to during our daily struggles. Tim will share his vision, mission, and tips on how to stay positive and focused.
It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air… Let’s all listen & learn together!
