Happy Sunday!

Last weekend was beyond busy and this weekend is about the same. I need to replenish.

I want to thank all my 26 brave little “ducks” who ignored the stormy weather in order to bring Christmas cheer to the homebound. I could never express with words how much I look forward to sharing this experience each year. I am grateful beyond words.

This year Christmas caroling was miraculous. Because I am tying to keep this brief, here is a glimpse of our time together:

26 strangers, 80% chance of thunderstorms, waiting on Dan (who traveled over 2 hours to play the guitar), pouring rain, try to practice songs, stopped practice, need guitar, Dan arrives, relief, more rain, more practice, sounding better, late in getting out, rain, rain, rain stops, caroling begins, love, laughter, sprinkles of tears, laughter, delight, sunshine, awe, wonder, more singing, gratitude, more love, swaying, caroling done, filled joyful hearts, Thanksgiving Feast Celebration with 26 friends, Best Food EVER…  Mark your calendars, 12/8/19, hope you can join us!

More singing angels will join me today, as we surprise both my mom, dad and all the residents at my parents new assisted living facility… My cup runneth over!

My new article in Florida Today, “Don’t Let The Grinch Steal Your Christmas,” was published last Thursday. If you would like to read it, feel free to click here. Also, please remember that once a month I am featured on WEFS-TV and that will air this afternoon at 5:30 pm. Click here to preview. Please feel free to comment and share the article with your family and friends.

Saturday, 12-22-18 ~ We sometimes worry about the stranger who lurks in the dark but what about the ones we love who threaten our very core.
