Happy Sunday!

Last Sunday 35 of us went on a Christmas caroling adventure to the homebound in a nearby community… 35 people started out mostly as strangers and, by the last stop, we were family. To say it was amazing, does not do it justice!!!

This afternoon, I will be bringing this same gift of caroling to my parents with many of our family and friends.

Can you imagine how it felt many years ago when, all of a sudden, I realized that my parents actually had become candidates for me to bring the gift of Christmas caroling?

The first year was tough seeing my dad break down in tears from all the emotions of listening to the joy of live music.

My dad has always loved music. There was always music playing in our home. Sometimes my dad would go into our game room and sit quietly while he listened to the latest reel to reel, record album, or CD, that he had purchased. Well, each year when we surprise my parents with Christmas caroling, the joy on their faces melts my heart. Especially knowing that the carolers are our family and friends.

Giving the gift of music is great. But then the receivers’ faces become a gift for us. We feel their love poured out in their tears and nonverbal joy! It is with anticipation; I look forward to singing and bringing my parents’ joy.

And yet another gift… From Tuesday to Saturday, Robert and I took care of two of our grandchildren, Jacob and Claire! We had so much fun. It was hard letting them go yesterday as our daughter and son-in-love came back from their business and fun trip to NYC!

Here are some pictures of our time with Jacob & Claire!

It was so nice to spend time and sharing a meal with Brittney & Bryan prior to their trip.

Jacob (5) and Claire (1)… The Best Gifts EVER!

The boys are all smiles… The girls love to make some noise!

We lost our entire living room for 5 days! Jake called it ”a fort”… I call it squatting! (I loved how he hung his clothes on the line.) So Creative!

I love kissing all my grandchildren! I think I went beyond my kissing quota!!!

Tuesday, 12-14-21 YouTube or Facebook LIVE 12:05 pm ~ According to Sarah Peyton, author, Certified Trainer of Nonviolent Communication and neuroscience educator, many of us have painful experiences with others, or there may be things that happened to us that left us with difficult memories. We end up making unconscious contracts with ourselves. For example, we say, “I will never let myself be in that situation again,” or “I will never forgive myself for that.” These examples are contracts that often result in harmful behaviors, such as self-criticism, lack of trust, or procrastination. Sarah will teach us how to become aware of these contracts so we can go from self-sabotage to self-care.

Wednesday, 12-15-21 YouTube or Facebook LIVE 12:05 pm ~ Recently I received a text that stated, “How have you been with all this insanity?” My reply was, “I know who wins in the end of the story and I’m staying focused on the moment.” So much is happening in the world that sometimes it is difficult to stay focused on what we truly want. As we approach 2022, some will be getting the perfect gift and fantasizing about what they want for the New Year. But what are we willing to do to achieve that? I will share tips on staying in the moment and how to make sure the most important gift is your presence.

Thursday, 12-16-21 YouTube or Facebook LIVE 12:05 pm  ~  This is the last class of the year and I am thrilled to share this with Jennifer Gramith, ND, CLT of Rightway Health and Wellness! Dr. Gramith has taught us all about the lymphatic system, dealing with emotions, and the importance of a balanced mindset. She has taught us about the latest in energy medicine and introduced us to tools like EVOX and ZYTO. Dr. Gramith just guided us through our first Liver & Gallbladder Cleanse. It was phenomenal! Dr. Gramith is back to share how we can remain healthy during the holidays, spirit, mind, and body!

Friday, 12-17-21 Facebook Watch Party 12:05 pm ~ They say that time flies when you are having fun. But where has the time gone? I cannot believe this is my last live show for the year. Christmas is right around the corner. So, it is time to reflect, reminisce, and recall some of my favorite moments of the year and how we are going to set ourselves up for a successful 2021! (Aired 12-17-20)
