Happy Sunday!

I cannot believe that another important event has come and  I will be unable to celebrate… My parent’s 67th Wedding Anniversary!

I would love to say that my upbringing was perfect and that my parents were the picture of a romantic love affair, but that narrative is true for my parents. My perspective is that my parents, were and are the best teachers of how to be and how not to be.  (I am sure my kids say the same thing about me.  😉

We are all flawed humans and the older I get, the more I appreciate my parent’s imperfections. I could be upset about the love I did not receive, or the times they treated me less than acceptable but instead, I celebrate them and what they were able to create. The rest is up to me and I am beyond grateful that they gave me life. That they forgave me when my treatment of them was less than acceptable.

It is easy to see the flaws in others but when those flaws come together in love and acceptance, aww…  that is where the magic of humanity lies.  Love, I treated them unconditional love, is the answer to our problems.

When in doubt, choose love… For even if we are hurt, at least we loved! For the greatest of gifts, is love!

I am still excited about all last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well. If you missed listening to or watching any of last week’s lessons, there are many ways you can still learn and grow.
