Each new year offers an invitation to begin again. Yet traditional resolutions often leave us discouraged rather than empowered. Over time, I’ve learned that lasting change doesn’t come from rigid promises, but from intentionally choosing what truly aligns with our values, our health, and our purpose. As I reflect on what I want for 2026, I lean on cultivating a mindset that supports clarity, consistency, and sustainable well-being, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Choosing intentions over resolutions gives us permission to grow with grace, remain curious, and stay committed even when life becomes challenging. I will share wisdom drawn from Jesus’ parable in Matthew 9:17, of pouring new wine into old wineskins… a powerful reminder that meaningful transformation requires creating space for the new, and why we should let go of old patterns. How has pouring new wine into old wineskins kept you from achieving your goals? What would staying committed with grace, rather than perfection, look like for you in 2026?
