Happy Sunday!

How are you doing? Have you recovered from the storm? I hope you have. But we still have the rest of the storm season ahead of us and I pray you will remain safe.

Please be sure to take care of all those you love… Including yourself. Be aware of what you need and replenish your spirit.

This weekend I am following my own advice… I am taking care of myself. My weekend started with a glorious massage, followed by lots of rest, some bonding time with Robert, attending a praise & worship service, and it will end with a wonderful bike ride to observe nature and wave goodbye to all the cruise ship travelers at Port Canaveral. (Who knew this event of waving farewell would turn into a “tailgate” party. Apparently, “it’s the thing to do!”)  😉

Anyway, I feel better now… and I’m ready to take on the new week! I hope you are ready as well!

I am still excited about all of last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well. If you missed listening to any of last week’s shows, there are two ways you can still listen. They are updated daily to our website (Click Here to listen) and you can go YouTube to Apple Podcasts (for iPhones), Google Play Music (for Android phones) or iHeartRadio, search for “Lillian McDermott,” and listen to the podcasted shows, commercial free, at your leisure (Click Here to learn more). Let’s continue to Grow Together!

It is a new week and here is what’s happening on

Thursday, 9-28-17 ~ Medical journalist, Donna Jackson Nakazawa’s father died in a hospital from an autoimmune condition. Many years later, she found herself in the same hospital, with the same autoimmune condition. This caused her to search deep within herself and research the effects of childhood trauma on health. Friday, 9-29-17 ~ Have you limited yourself from doing all the things you want to do because you are new to an area and by yourself? Do you sometimes miss your friends and family? Do you think you would do more if you had someone to join you? Well, it is time to come out of your comfort zone as my friend, Julie Mickler, and I share tips on how to embrace a new community, even if you are by yourself.

Saturday, 9-30-17 ~ How often do you stop at a fast food restaurant because you have no time to cook? Well, we might want to renew our commitment to G-BOMBS!  World-renowned New York Times bestselling author, speaker, and teacher, Dr. Joel Fuhrman, has birthed another book called, Fast Food Genocide. I believe it will change the way we look at “convenience foods”! Dr. Joel Fuhrman will teach us how processed food is killing us and what we can do about it.
