Let’s see… How can I start another blog in a different way than the last 7 months? Hmmmm? How about… I need to go on a cruise, all expenses paid! 😉
We had another best visitor EVER… our granddaughter, Bailey Lynne! We had so much fun, dancing, spending special MeMe/Bailey bonding time, and playing “teacher.” We love that little girl.
Yes, I had another busy weekend including the deadline for my Florida Today article. So, I will focus on our exciting week of shows!
I am still excited about all last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well. If you missed listening to any of last week’s shows, there are two ways you can still listen. They are updated daily to our website (Click Here to listen) and you can go YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, Stitcher or iHeartRadio. Search for “Lillian McDermott,” and listen to the podcasted shows, commercial free, at your leisure (Click Here to learn more). Let’s continue to Grow Together!
It is a new week and here is what’s happening on
The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!
Monday, 8-6-18 ~ Lily Tomlin said: “Why is it that when we talk to God we’re said to be praying but when God talks to us we’re schizophrenic?” In his series of books, Conversations with God, author Neale Donald Walsch shares his life, his anguish, and how his conversations with God have set him free to a new truth…. Who is God to you? (Aired 5-19-17)
Tuesday, 8-7-18 ~ It has been years since I wrote The 90 Day Challenge to Self Love eBook. Recently, some have shown interest in learning more about my book. I have even been interviewed by other radio talk show hosts. I thought it was time to dust off the book and share the principles of self-love and how to practice them until we perfect them to an art.
Wednesday, 8-8-18 ~ It is that time again when we dissect my newest Florida Today Article with one of my favorite editors and the author of Daddy Duty, Tim Walters. You can find the article online at FloridaToday.com on Tuesday, 8/7, and in print on Thursday, 8/9. Tim and I will discuss how to build and maintain lifetime FRIENDSHIPS.
Thursday, 8-9-18 ~ Brooke Goldner, MD, was featured in the documentary, “Eating You Alive.” She is not only a wonderful doctor, but she is a patient as well. Dr. Goldner will share how changing her lifestyle changed her life and reversed her diagnosis of lupus. (Aired 5-24-18)
Friday, 8-10-18 ~ It is our goal to empower our children to feel unique and special. But sometimes, as they get older, their peers, teachers, or circumstances can make them feel like they are not enough. Chloe Howard was born with a clubfoot and other health issues. She believed her uniqueness gave her secret superpowers until she was assaulted by bullies during her freshmen year in high school. Chloe will share how this event, although traumatic, has fueled her passion and led to her life’s purpose… to “Stand Beautiful.”
Saturday, 8-11-18 ~ If you think that getting older means becoming sick, then make the choice towards health! Our next topic on “Integrated Seniors,” with my co-host Tim Ray, founder of United Intentions, is diabetes. Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum is a board-certified internist and nationally known expert in the fields of chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, sleep, and pain. As a result of his own health crisis and his journey to health, he created his S.H.I.N.E. protocol. S.H.I.N.E. stands for Sleep, Hormones, Infections, Nutrition, and Exercise. He will share how this protocol can help prevent and reverse diabetes. It is time to take our health back.
It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air. Let’s all listen & learn Together!
