As a grandmother, I was given an opportunity to see what true “childlike wonder” looks like while watching our youngest grandson, Jacob, during this past week.
He was trying to convince me that he was only 2 years old, which is younger than his chronological age. He was so convincing that I had to laugh. Then, I told him, “Jacob, you’re such a cutie pie.” His response baffled me as he was visibly upset. Then, through his tears he cried, “MeMe, I’m not a pie!”
Watching a 3-year-old is exhaustingly wonderful, but I need to make up for some lost time of not writing my book. So, I will be taking some much-needed time off to play catch up.
I am still excited about all last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well.
