I’m keeping my head above water while preparing for the expansion of The Lillian McDermott Radio Show to the Jacksonville area and traveling to New Jersey for my niece’s wedding. So, I will produce a very short blog… At least that is my intention but I never know what will come out of me, until I am done writing. 😉
As you know, tomorrow May 22rd is the start of a new chapter for the show… I am thankful for the opportunity and feel the butterflies of joy rumbling within me. I am looking forward to seeing how Jacksonville and the surrounding areas will embrace the new truth we are discovering from all the great teachers on the show.
This week you will be able to Listen LIVE weekdays at 8 am, again at 12 noon, and then Saturdays at 11 am! Click Here to enter our new “listen” page.
Please keep me in your prayers as I step out of my comfort zone that developed from 6 years of gratitude to WMEL. Now, I am also thankful to Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting, The Biz & The Answer, for believing in me!
I am still excited about all of last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well. If you missed listening to any of last week’s shows, there are two ways you can still listen. They are updated daily to our website (Click Here to listen) and you can go to Apple Podcasts (for iPhones), Google Play Music (for Android phones) or iHeartRadio, search for “Lillian McDermott,” and listen to the podcasted shows, commercial free, at your leisure (Click Here to learn more). Let’s continue to Grow Together!
It is a new week and here is what’s happening on
The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!
Monday, 5-22-17 ~ Although I just celebrated the 6th Anniversary of The Lillian McDermott Radio Show, this is the first time I am live and local in Jacksonville & Surrounding Areas. So, to quote Ross Perot’s vice presidential running mate, Admiral Stockdale, “Who am I and why am I here?” I will share my journey and how taking 100% responsibility for your life can lead to empowerment, freedom, and joy.” Click Here to watch SNL’s version of what happened after that debate.
Tuesday, 5-23-17 ~ When I think about nursery rhymes and the stories we read to our children, I believe they can leave a child lonely or perhaps fearful of abandonment. I met the founder of Conscious Bedtime Stories, Andrew Newman, at the Eckhart Tolle retreat. When he shared that he writes books for children that promote mindfulness and consciousness, I was more than intrigued. Andrew will share how his books teach our children how to deepen their wisdom and mature spiritually.
Wednesday, 5-24-17 ~ Do you have a hard time talking to your kids about S E X? Would you prefer to let your children watch violence rather than see a couple be intimate in the movies? Certified clinical Sexologist and Author of “It’s Not The Birds and The Bees, It’s Sex,” Dr. Tamara Griffin will teach us how to talk to our children about sex.
Thursday, 5-25-17 ~ What are your dreams like? Do you have a reoccurring crazy dream that just does not make sense? Can you even remember it? Holistic Dream Coach, Dr. Leigh Randolph, DDS, MS, helps her clients discover the meaning behind a dream’s sign or symbol. If you have a question about your dreams, call or text me at 407-373-5959, and I will ask Leigh to teach us what it means.
Friday, 5-26-17 ~ I was once told that if we can count our true friends on one hand, we were blessed. I had many friends. As I got older, I discovered those words were true, as many of those friends were really acquaintances. How do you discern which friendships are for a reason, a season or a lifetime? My friend, Julie Mickler and I will discuss what we have learned about cultivating a lasting friendship.
Saturday, 5-27-17 ~ Although I just celebrated the 6th Anniversary of The Lillian McDermott Radio Show, this is the first time I am live and local in Jacksonville & Surrounding Areas.
It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air… Let’s all listen & learn together!
