Another weekend filled with love and laughter.
Dave and his girlfriend Nadja came over for the weekend… Dave is Robert’s best friend from high school. It is always so much fun when we get together!
On Saturday, April 28th, I got to experience my very famous cousin and Celebrity Chef Doreen Colondres at work, in my own back yard! I am so proud of her and loved reconnecting. My cup runneth over!
Once again, it is time to return to Jacksonville for an event with my “sister from another mister,” Safura Osmani and the North Florida Influencers group. Today the group will be enjoying a feast at Blue Bamboo… I will share all the fun on my social media! Stay tuned!
I am still excited about all last week’s shows… Such great inspirational people who touched my life. I hope you enjoyed them as well. If you missed listening to any of last week’s shows, there are two ways you can still listen. They are updated daily to our website (Click Here to listen) and you can go YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, Spotify, or iHeartRadio. Search for “Lillian McDermott,” and listen to the podcasted shows, commercial free, at your leisure (Click Here to learn more). Let’s continue to Grow Together!
It is a new week and here is what’s happening on
The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!
Monday, 4-30-18 ~ Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., MD, was featured in the documentary, Forks Over Knives. This documentary changed the way I view my responsibility for my health and nutrition. For over 23 years, Dr. Esselstyn has worked with people who were sent home to die from heart disease. He has given them hope and a new outlook on life. Dr. Esselstyn is a mentor to many Whole Food Plant Based physicians who have been on my show. He has lovingly traded his scalpel for sprouts. I am thrilled he is back to mentor us. (Aired 9-1-17)
Tuesday, 5-1-18 ~ Do you feel tired during the day? Dr. Richard Horowitz, MD, author of “How Can I Get Better?” has taught us about resistant Lyme and chronic disease. Now he is going to teach us about something else… the importance of sleep. Sleep deprivation can lead to disease as well. Dr. Horowitz will share how we can improve our health through optimal sleep hygiene. (Aired 9-27)
Thursday, 5-3-18 ~ Marc Ramirez is a former University of Michigan football player who released 50 pounds and reversed type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, psoriasis, and eliminated heartburn. Marc and his wife, Kim, have seen firsthand the transformational evidence of a whole food plant-based lifestyle on the body. This led them to start Chickpea and Bean, a non-profit organization. They will share the biggest frustration they currently have.
Friday, 5-4-18 ~ Are you feeling sick and no one can tell you why? Joe Pizzorno, ND, is the author of “The Toxin Solution: How Hidden Poisons in the Air, Water, Food, and Products We Use Are Destroying Our Health–AND WHAT WE CAN DO TO FIX IT.” He will share the top 10 toxins found in our home that lead to illness, even cognitive decline.
Saturday, 5-5-18 ~ Are you a “generational pattern shifter”? Do you feel like the odd person in your family? Perhaps you feel like you just don’t fit in or don’t belong. Maybe you think there was something horrible that happened to you but there is no evidence that anything did. 21st Century Medicine Woman, health coach, author, and friend, Heather Dane, will help us understand the meaning of a “generational pattern shifter,” and what we can learn from our ancestors.
It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air… Let’s all listen & learn together!
So, let’s discuss, listen and we will all learn together…
