Happy Sunday!

Technology is absolutely awesome when it is used in a balanced way…  Well, there are times that I am distracted and feel like I do not get anything done because I am reading posts on what someone ate last night.

This weekend, I am grateful for technology because I was able to prerecord shows, record promos and prepare my blog ahead of time so that I can be fully present during my nephew/godson’s wedding with his beautiful bride Katie.

By the time this blog is viewed, I will have spent the most glorious weekend with my family, old friends and people I will meet for the first time, who will share this weekend in honor of the new Mr. & Mrs. T. Brandon Saltmarsh!

As I reflect on the expectation for this weekend, all I can say is… It is all perfect!  I am so grateful for the flexibility of the team at The Lillian McDermott Show that I can get away and enjoy such an awesome weekend!

It is a new week and here is what’s happening on

The Lillian McDermott Radio Show.

Monday, 4-20-15 – 9 am to 10 am ~  Our body is programmed to heal naturally but when there is an interruption of flow or a “blockage” in our body, it could cause us to feel pain.  Avazzia microcurrent therapies are FDA cleared to treat pain without drugs or risk for addiction.  Tim Smith, the inventor of Avazzia, will share how this technology is changing lives.

Tuesday, 4-21-15 – 9 am to 10 am ~  Only 1 in 3 kids are physically active and approximately 17% (or 12.7 million) children and adolescents (aged 2—19 years) are obese.  Learning about nutrition and how to cultivate the land will create a healthier nation!   Alex Freedman of Food Corps will share how this organization is helping our young generation get more familiar with eating nutritious food, cooking healthy food and hands-on growing of organic food. “Never Diet!”

Wednesday, 4-22-15 – 9 am to 10 am ~ It is Earth Day and on this day I want to honor a friend of mine who, after trying to find a clean organic option for skin care, created her own organic skin care line.  Wow!!!  Who does that? Esthetician Marlene Waganheim did and her skin care line is called, 4.22 Organics, in honor of Earth Day!

Thursday, 4-23-15 – 9 am to 10 am ~ It’s Thankful Thursday with the Executive Director of A Network For Grateful Living, Kristi Nelson.  Kristi just wrote an article for the Huffington Post about being grateful during hard times.  It is so important that we learn how to be grateful regardless of our circumstance and I am so glad Kristi will help guide us there, even when we don’t feel like it.

Friday, 4-24-15 – 9 am to 10 am ~ Do you ever wonder why a married couple would opt to have an open marriage?  The reality is there are couples who believe that an open relationship has saved their marriage.   On Friday, April 24th we are going to take a “no judgment” peek into the lives of a couple living the lifestyle.

It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air…  Let’s all listen & learn together!

So talk to me, listen and we will all learn together…
