Week of 11-21-16, on The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!

Happy Sunday!

I have spent the last 3 glorious days and nights with our youngest grandson, Jake. He is “The Prince,” at the Bennett Castle, in Jacksonville Beach, FL.

We are born with unconditional love and perhaps that is why we get such a big smile when we are in the presence of a child.

Children know no strangers, accept everyone as they are and they are quick to forgive. They know so little, but yet, each day they learn the equivalent of what we adults might learn in a year. That childlike wonder and unconditional love is so beautiful and does not require anyone to teach it to them.

This Thanksgiving week, as we find ourselves seeing family and friends, let’s tap into that place of unconditional love. And as we gather together, let’s reflect on the true meaning of the celebration of Thanksgiving…

The year 1621 was the first Thanksgiving gathering. At the table, for the first time, it was not about being pilgrims or Native Americans… It was about coming together as one, in gratitude! Let’s gather with that same intention… We are all one!

Monday, 11-21-16 – 12 Noon ~ It has been a long time since the Executive Director of A Network For Grateful Living, Kristi Nelson, has been on the show. While I finish up my “MeMe” duties with my grandson, and in preparation for our live show with Kristi on Wednesday, I thought I would dig out an old Kristi Nelson show so you can hear just how wonderful she is. Kristi is the Executive Director of A Network For Grateful Living! We will discuss our most favorite topic EVER… Being Thankful, anytime, but especially during the holiday season.

Thursday, 11-24-16 – 12 Noon ~ Too much time has passed since our favorite Guru and curious student of life, JP Sears, has been on the show to make us laugh and take a good look at ourselves. As we step closer to the holidays, let’s start the process of visualizing thankfulness and what our life would be like if we were grateful for everything in our lives. (Aired (11-7-16)

Friday, 11-25-16 – 12 Noon ~ Many people believe their religion is the only way to salvation. If fact, many wars, arguments, and prejudices have taken place throughout the centuries. Let’s end the madness and arguments about the root of our faith… LOVE!
