For the last several months, I have started most of my blogs, “Can you believe how quickly time has passed? Next thing you know, it will be the holidays!” Well, the holidays have come and now, so has 2016… Happy New Year 2016!!!
What do you want the New Year to look like? Have you sat down to create a new vision for your life and set some action plans for those goals?
Even if your life is perfect and you are living life at the fullest, there is always room to grow. Personal growth has nothing to do with needing to change. Rather, it’s more like, deserving to grow! Make 2016 the year to get out of your comfort zone and strive to learn something new each day. Go through life with childlike wonder and savor learning something new. Before you know it… 2017 will be knocking on your door and you will know 366 new things you didn’t know that you didn’t know.
May 2016 be your Best Year EVER!!!

It is a new week and here is what’s happening on
The Lillian McDermott Radio Show!
Monday, 1-4-16 – 8 am to 9 am ~ According to Statistic Brain Research Institute, the number one New Year’s resolution is to lose weight. Trey Stouffer, of Transformation Medical Weight Loss Clinics, is back to get us started on the right track!
Tuesday, 1-5-16 – 8 am to 9 am ~ Viewing the documentary, Forks Over Knives, changed the way I view my responsibility when it comes to my health and nutrition. Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., MD was featured during this wonderful film and I knew he would be on my show. For over 23 years, Dr. Esselstyn has taken people who were sent home to die from heart disease, and given them hope and a new outlook on life. This Yale grad and Gold Medal Winning Olympian has traded his scalpel for sprouts and I am thrilled to share this impactful information with you! Click Here to view for $ .99
Wednesday, 1-6-16 – 8 am to 9 am ~ When Dr. Michael Greger’s, grandmother was diagnosed with a terminal disease, she changed her entire lifestyle and lived a healthy life until she was 96!! As a physician, New York Times bestselling author, and internationally recognized speaker, Dr. Greger knew he would speak out for responsible living in order to help those with prostate cancer, high blood pressure, liver and heart disease and more. Dr. Greger has appeared on shows such as The Colbert Report and The Dr. Oz Show. He was invited as an expert witness in defense of Oprah Winfrey at the infamous “meat defamation” trial. Now, he will teach us “How Not To Die.”
Thursday, 1-7-16 – 8 am to 9 am ~ Molly Patrick, of Clean Food Dirty Girl, takes the boring out of healthy and the preachy out of vegan. She believes there is too much of both in the world. Molly specializes in a Whole-Food, Plant-Based lifestyle, and helps people eat more whole plant foods and less of everything else. She looks forward to a world where people eat to prevent illness and disease, not treat it after it happens. She will also teach us a few of her favorite recipes.
Friday, 1-8-16 – 8 am to 9 am ~ I met Justin Harvey at VegFest Orlando last October. Justin is a passionate young man who plans a protest march against Monsanto, to end GMOs, every May. Many do not know anything about GMOs. I asked Justin, along with world renowned Brian and Anna Maria Clement, of Hippocrates Health Institute, the world’s foremost complementary residential health center, to educate us on the dangers of GMOs.
It is a busy week and I hope you will set your reminder to meet me on the air… Let’s all listen & learn together!
So talk to me, listen and we will all learn together…
