Happy Sunday!
This week’s shows are all about contribution and giving back… Each one of my guests faced some form of trial only to find a new purpose. I am excited to share their stories with you!
So, here is what’s happening on The Lillian McDermott Radio Show this week.
Monday, 5-5-14 – 9 am to 10 am ~ Turning Lemons into Lemon Meringue Pie! I am bringing back some of my special teachers who have taught us how to face our trials with grace. You too will be inspired as we learn how difficult times can lead to greatness when we focus outside ourselves.
Tuesday, 5-6-14 – 9 am to 10 am ~ Joe Hurston, of Air Mobile Ministries (AMM) has a non-profit organization that provides disaster relief. Since its inception in 1978, AMM has traveled around the world many times bringing medical supplies, food, clothing, and now the Air Mobile Rescuer water purifier to those in need. Joe Hurston and his team of volunteers have worked to help disaster victims after hurricanes, tsunamis, earthquakes and war. The Huston Family also received an Extreme Makeover Home Edition, when they experienced a disaster in their home.
Wednesday, 5-7-14 – 9 am to 10 am ~ Introducing The Space Coast LifeRing! LifeRing is an abstinence-based, worldwide network of individuals seeking to live in recovery from addiction to alcohol or to other non-medically indicated drugs. LifeRing offers peer-to-peer support to encourage personal growth and continued learning through empowerment. In short, they are new to Brevard County and they are looking to establish a group.
Thursday, 5-8-14 – 9 am to 10 am ~ Space Coast Honor Flight’s mission is to take WWII & Korean War Veterans to visit their War Memorials in Washington D.C. This is a unique opportunity to show our gratitude to these war heroes that made our freedom possible. Let’s all learn how we can contribute to this wonderful organization.
Friday, 5-9-14 – 9 am to 10 am ~ “Friendly Friday!” Call 321-631-1300 and be our teacher… Is there anything you are feeling “stuck” about? If so, I am here to help with a different perspective! I also want to hear what is going well in your life… Share how you have created your success so we can all learn from you!
